Why Micro Encapsulation?
Micro particles of the ‘ingredient,’ or core material can be encapsulated using a number of various coatings depending upon its final application and intended use.
Encapsulation coatings are structured to form a barrier around the core material to protect or separate it from its surroundings. The core material can then be ‘released’ when required in a controlled, precise and timely manner.
The ‘trigger’ for releasing the core material can be tailored to be varied, time dependent, temperature change, moisture, Ph, enzymatic, mechanical rupture, biodegradation or a combination of these.
